Who We Are

The Family Services' Center for Victim Safety and Support assists individuals and families through a variety of direct services and collaborative community responses for victims and secondary victims of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault/abuse, and other crimes included, but not limited to, stalking, homicide, robbery, elder abuse, and human trafficking.

There are no income eligibility guidelines. Family Services' Center for Victim Safety and Support serves all victims of crime completely free of charge.

We offer 24-hour assistance to victims of violence, including safety planning and accompaniment to medical (including sexual assault exams), court, housing, legal, and social services, as well as assistance with filing compensation claims with the NYS Office of Victim Services.
