Who We Are

Our Employment Law and Workers’ Rights practice pursues affirmative litigation, policy reform, individual representation, and community education designed to strengthen enforcement of workers’ and job seekers’ rights, deter employers from taking advantage of vulnerable workers, and help low-income workers earn a living wage.  We provide advice, referral and representation to low-income workers facing a range of problems, including loss of employment, unpaid wages and overtime pay, employment discrimination, and medical leave issues.  In addition, Our Child Care Project provides advocacy and advice to home-based child care providers on licensing matters and other legal issues affecting their employment in child care.
