Who We Are

The Workers Defense League assists workers with work related problems and conducts educational campaigns around various workers' rights issues. The Workers Defense League annually provides free representation to hundreds of people who have been unfairly denied unemployment insurance benefits after losing or leaving their jobs.  Please be aware that the individuals providing advice and representation are not lawyers, but are qualified to represent clients at hearings.
