Who We Are
The Advocates for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Clinic is a law school legal clinic at Brooklyn Law School that provides free civil legal services for individuals over 18 with an intellectual or developmental disability in Brooklyn without regard to income.
We provide assistance in a variety of issue areas including: Housing, Medicaid/OPWDD appeals, Special Education/Transition Planning, Prisoner’s Rights, Access-VR appeals, Parental Rights, Discrimination, and 17-A Guardianship.
