The Mayor's Alliance for NYC Animals

The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, is the sole umbrella organization for animal welfare in NYC.  Our organization features a tenant advocacy program in which we provide free resources for NYC tenants facing pet-related housing crises. In addition to tenant advocacy we connect clients with lawyers and law firms offering pro bono representation to NYC tenants who may have a legal claim to keep their pets despite landlord and management claims to the contrary. The lawyers who assist these tenants represent the individual tenant directly, and do not represent The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals. The cases range from straightforward to complex, and we would need to discuss further the type of case that would suit your availability and expertise best.
