Who We Are
The Oswego County Office for the Aging is a department within the Oswego County Government. Our mission is to assist older Oswego County residents to remain independent in the community for as long as possible in safety and with dignity.
This mission shall be accomplished through advocacy, development and delivery of cost-effective programs and services that support and empower them and their families and/or caregivers, and in partnership with the many diverse community agencies and organizations that serve them.
The Office for the Aging provides direct and contracted services including: Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Meals, Home Aides, Case Management, Nutrition Counseling, Transportation, Legal Assistance, Nutrition Education, Information & Assistance, Outreach, Personal Emergency Response Systems, Caregivers and other services.
