Safe Horizon

Safe Horizon is the largest victim service organization in the country. Every year, 250,000 people seek safety through our services following experiences of physical violence, sexual violence, community violence, emotional abuse, and exploitation. Our mission is to stand with each of them and offer unwavering support through New York City's largest network of domestic violence shelters, co-located criminal justice programs, case management and therapeutic support, and expert legal advice and representation. We envision a world where safety is a universal human right. 

Wraparound Legal Services:

• Our Domestic Violence Law Project assists victims of domestic violence in family justice proceedings, including orders of protection, custody, support, and divorce proceedings.  
   
• The Immigration Law Project assists noncitizen survivors in applications for humanitarian-based immigration benefits, such as asylum, U visas, VAWA and SIJS. 
   
• The Anti-Trafficking Program provides wraparound social and legal services to survivors of human trafficking.
