If someone else moves into your home, you have to tell the Public Housing Authority (PHA) in writing and get an approval. The PHA keeps a list of who can live in your home. The list is on the certification form and lease. If you don't tell the PHA who lives in your household, you can be evicted and the unapproved people can be charged with trespass.

Download the flyer to learn more, including:

  • who is not allowed to live in your home without approval
  • what happens to your household if you move away or die
  • what happens to your household if you die and owe rent
