When a court evicts you, your landlord must let you get your belongings.
Your landlord must keep your things safe for at least 30 days.
Tell your landlord in writing that you want to get your things. Offer dates and times you are available to pick them up.
If your landlord throws out, sells, or does not let you get your belongings, you can sue them in Small Claims Court for money. Learn more about Small Claims Court.
