Other housing help

New York City also manages other programs for people with HIV and their households. These include supportive housing, rental assistance, and short-term housing programs funded through federal programs like HOPWA and Ryan White. These programs help you:

  • Find stable housing
  • Move from temporary to permanent housing
  • Receive support services to improve your health

You can explore these programs and find local providers at New York City’s HIV housing services.

Having HIV or AIDS should not prevent you from having a safe home. These services can help you stay housed and supported.
